Kelly Shockley
DC, DACBSP
Dr. Kelly Shockley has been providing functional medicine and sports health care in the Centennial, Park Meadows area since 2005. Dr. Kelly uses the Activator Method of chiropractic. She provides customized nutrition and food plans through very comprehensive

Dr. Kelly enjoys being a mom to her very active 5yr old son. She is an outdoor enthusiast who thoroughly enjoys the beauty of our Colorado mountains through photography, as well as, hiking, trail running and chasing summits. Her latest athletic accomplishment was completing her first ultramarathon – the NorthFork 50-miler in June 2016. She is hooked and looking to complete her first 100-miler, the Silverheels 100, in August 2017.
Kelly received her BA in Human Biology from the
Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians
Dr. Kelly Shockley has successfully completed the requirements to be certified as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP). The DACBSP certification requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 300 hours of postgraduate education. This instruction is specific to evaluating physical fitness and the assessment and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must then take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination. The doctor must also successfully complete a practical (hands-on) examination. In addition, the doctor must have a sports-related paper published in a peer-reviewed journal and a minimum of 100 hours providing hands-on treatment to athletes outside of the clinical setting.
This training will aid Dr. Shockley in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing her diagnostic skills and patient care. The DACBSP accreditation exists to provide a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that the doctor has met a high level of competency in chiropractic sports medicine. Dr. Shockley joins approximately 200 others nationally who hold this designation.
